What role do you currently hold?

I am an Elder and mentor who provides external support and guidance to Thawun Consultancy where needed. I work alongside Jason by offering support, cultural knowledge, and guidance as the consultancy continues to grow and support communities, and organisations nationwide.

Tell us about yourself

I am a very proud descendant of the Wiradjuri Nation, specifically the Wangaaypuwan people of the Bogan River, which is in central NSW. My connection to Country, community, and culture is something I carry with pride and is an important part of who I am today.

What are you most passionate about?

I am passionate about delivering mental health and wellbeing services nationwide to support stronger, healthier, and more connected communities. Through both professional knowledge and lived experience, I am committed to creating safe conversations, encouraging positive change, and supporting the wellbeing of individuals, workplaces, and communities. I am also passionate about sharing knowledge and creating greater understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, connection, and community through the work that I do.

One piece of advice you would give to others?

One piece of advice I would give is to listen respectfully, stay open to learning, and never be afraid to ask questions. Meaningful understanding comes from genuine conversations, connection, and simply being yourself.
